Subject:Dutton locust 7 currently on ebay

Hi everybody, looking for advice on a Dutton locust 7 for sale on eBay.I was interested in this car several months ago but withdrew my interest when discrepancies came up on the correct/non correct vehicle details.Does anybody know anything about this car.It appears to be on YouTube video on a morocco rally, then on a different registration, now it is on a Q plate.Several months ago,the then seller had to sell the car as a track only car(I assume because of validating certain documentation to the car) and would have to put the car through the SVA test, incurring costs. The cost of the car from what I recall was about £2500.The car is now up for sale at £4995 Ono.I did a DVLA check and when entering reg. Came up as Dutton locust 7 ,so it seems to be reg. Correctly, but what has changed in the passing months, something doesn't add up,any advice would be appreciated, regards,Mark.

It is good to see the LEC still going strong and it has been a few years now since I have been able to attend a meet. Work has been the key reason I have not be able to get out to events, and even worse not use the car. After some sole searching I think it is time to let my beloved Locust go to a new owner who will enjoy the car. I am currently tidying the car for sale, but I would prefer it to go to someone that likes our breed of 7. If anyone knows of an interested party then please let me know. If I have not sold the car before the next show I may get to a meet before the car has gone.
