Subject:Hornet for Sale

I have a Pinto, 2ltr engined Hornet, chassis no. 052, for sale. I built the car and have been its only owner. The engine has a big valve head and fast road cam fuelled by a pair of twin 40s developing 125 bhp. is in very good condition, but some of the panels need a repaint. I have the paint. If you are thinking of building a car, why not buy this one as you could not build a car of this specification for the money. Plus you have a running car, that will come with 12 month's MOT, that you can use for the summer.

If you are interested email me for a detailed spec and some photos, or ring me on 01895676043, or 07758919005 geoffhitchings@live.co.uk

Subject:Locust chassis

Hi

I'm trying to source a locust chassis and wondered if anyone still makes them or if plans are available to make my own. I've had a set of the original JC plans for the body tub for about 25 years and think it time I did something with them!!

Cheers
Juan

Subject:Who built my Hornet in 1992

Hi peeps, great page ! Am still looking for the builder of my T%26J Hornet. See "overseas owners" for details and photos. The car was initially registered in GB in 1992 but all paperwork got lost. I only have details about the first German owner who once lived in Northrhine Westphalia but I don't get any details from the German authorities due to data protection laws ... He had bought the car in 1996.
The numbers 010 have been welded on top of the frame's front cross member, which probably was done when the frame was fabricated.
The car is equipped with Cortina running gear and front wishbones and a 2.0 Ford SOHC (101 HP/74kW) and a 4-speed box.

Would be perfect to get in contact with the builder, any help and information will be very much appreciated.

Cheers
Frank
