Bev. W. Evans the owner of BWE Sportcars has been working on the development of a new chassis for the Locust and Hornet models for a while now. The chassis are now complete and an examiner from the SVA has checked and approved them both.

The chassis are for use with Ford Sierra drive shafts, hubs and differential. The chassis has all round independent suspension with BWE's own tubular wishbones and coil over shock absorbers on the front and rear.

New Hornet Chassis (Front)

The original chassis and all the parts and plans for the previous models are still available.

BWE also make weather gear to order in a variety of colours.

BWE have informed me that they are in the process of updating the brochures but would like to reassure all Locust and Hornet owners and builders that wherever possible their very reasonable prices will be maintained.
