Kit Car Show - Chatham, Kent - 10/11 April 1999
Below we feature the star of this years Locust Enthusiast
Club Stand at the Chatham Show.
Build by John Bardoe of Strood, Kent, it features a Fiat Twin Cam
engine c/w Abarth 5-speed box. The interior is immaculetly
trimmed in black with red piping and unusually features a highly
polished wooden dashboard fitted with traditional instruments
The 'Locust Position'
The latest edition of the Club Newsletter is posted and sad
to say its Editor Phil Manship is looking to hand
over the reins. Phil is to be congratulated for his stewardship
of the mag, under whose wing it has grown from a 4 page flier to
a well respected, professional Club magazine that ranks amongst
the best around. Given the pittance that Club members pay
each year then to have such a quality mag 4 times a year is worth
the fee alone.
There is also a plea for more articles so any 'surfers' reading
this with a story, hint or tip to share with their fellow enthusiasts
