July '98 -The Dalesman Period Van, shown in an earlier page is now operating as a Point-of-Sale Mobile Tasting attraction for Schweppes in Macedonia.  Because of the urgency of requirement we swopped our Demonstrators petrol engine for a diesel unit and resprayed the van in corporate Schweppes yellow, with suitable graphics.

7/9/98  - The WRVL
SIII Demonstrator passed its Single Vehicle Approval Test, judged Fully SVA Compliant by the Chief Examiner at the Gillingham Test Centre, Kent

April 1999 - I'm not sure if it;'s a sign of the times or increasing frustration with look-alike 'euro-boxes' but we find we have been increasingly asked if we can supply 'turnkey' (i.e. fully build cars), particularly the Locust or our new Series III.  The short answer is 'No' as we supply parts only for DIY assembly.
However finished (and part-built) Locusts are occasionally available through the 'For Sale' section of the Locust Club mag but now there is at least one company, familiar with Locusts for a long time, who WILL discuss undertaking a build-to-order for you.
John Keywood of JB Sport Cars, Unit A, Lyndhurst Yard, Chertsey Rd, Shepperton, Middlesex TW17 9NS is happy to discuss your requirements and can be contacted on: 01932 560 018.  John is also the manufacturer of the very pretty Lotus Elan replica, the Chevette based "Elysee Sprint"
